Health:
Drink plenty of water.
Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.
Live with the 3 E’s - Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy
Play more games.
Read more books than you did in 2010.
Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
Sleep for 7 hours.
Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:
Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
Don’t over do. Keep your limits.
Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.
Dream more while you are awake.
Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don’t hate others.
Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.
No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
Smile and laugh more.
You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:
Call your family often.
Each day give something good to others.
Forgive everyone for everything.
Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
Try to make at least three people smile each day.
What other people think of you is none of your business.
Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

Life:
Do the right thing!
Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
The best is yet to come.
Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

20 days until senior year starts.

And 30 days until the deadline of the UP application forms. Mine is hiding under some old papers and is still blank. I’m running out of days, and I still haven’t decided on what course to take. Mom’s not helping, really— she’s discouraging me on both courses, and it’s solely up to me to decide which one to take. She also told me to just list down what I like and base my decision from there. So I’m going to make a list here because (1) I’m too lazy to get a sheet of paper and a pen, (2) I would be wasting paper and (3) I just don’t want to face the crappiness of my handwriting.

So, let’s get to business.

I like current events.
I like talking about current events.
I like debates.
I like politics.
I like talking about politics.
I like writing.
I like talking a lot.
I like defending stuff.
And that’s all I could think of right now. So if I were to sort it, it would be like this:

I like current events. - Journalism
I like talking about current events. - Journalism
I like debates. -Um. I’m not really sure about this.
I like politics. - PolSci.
I like talking about politics. - Um. Both, I think?
I like writing. - Journalism
I like talking a lot. - Journalism
I like defending stuff. - I don’t know about this one either.
So Journalism wins by number. But I don’t know, mom says it really isn’t practical, but she was saying that there are a lot of job openings for people who have a Journalism degree. But in PolSci, politics are discussed and I don’t think I’ll ever be bored with that. My only problem is all the memorization needed and I’m not really sure what my job could be afterwards, all I know is that it would be a nice Pre-law course.

So basically, I’m stuck between the two of them. Opinions?

Fun Thing During Facebook Time

I’ve been playing this for two consecutive days already, and it’s really really fun. :))

Point of the game is, you’re given a word to draw and your opponent guesses it. Then after three turns each, whoever gets the most score wins the game. After ten rounds today, I’m getting sleepy so what did we do during the eleventh round?

Teehee. Now excuse me as I get back the hours of sleep I lost last night.

How romantic it is diba if you're about left by you're loveone!
Kilig to maxxxxxxxxxxxx!

Qoutes

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Being assertive does not mean attacking or ignoring others feelings. It means that you are willing to hold up for yourself fairly-without attacking others.

I Love Hug

Not one of those “It’s nice to see you again, I‘ve really missed you” type of hugs or those “Goodbye for now” type of hugs, but an actual hug. The ones where each person has two arms wrapped around the other person’s body, holding on tight enough so no one feels the need to let go. The ones that last for more than a couple of seconds so you can rest your head on the other person’s shoulder for a while. Not the one armed hugs that need to be rushed so they could give a hug to the next person waiting to be hugged. The hugs where you don’t have to say anything because in that moment we just click when we’re holding onto each other. Hugs that make you feel like the world is slowing down just for you and everything is going to be okay. It’s not just a hug anymore, it becomes something much more than that. One simple gesture had the power to motivate you and make you stronger. Hugs like these are rare since you’re not exactly sure when you’re going to receive another one again. Giving you every possible reason to cherish the moment and make it last.
